Vans has definitely made me think about how much stuff you can and cannot match with plaid..this is one of those times. Though, the Classic Slip On and the Boat Shoe are kinda dope. Available now @ Proper.
(seriously, who the fuck sits down to actually make shit like this?)
Please get rid of all these fuckin lame and tired ass parody graphic t-shirts. I remember back when you had clothing and sneakers that were actually worth something and now you've picked (all that i can see) up nothing but fuckin stupid shirts with rap lyrics and pop culture non-sense printed on them. Im sure they're brands that are well on their way (out the door) and you guys are giving them a chance to get a little shine by buying their clothing lines but in all honestly, you're online shop is pretty much worthless and tends to be a bit much on the eyes due to all the loud ass color schemes of neon shades here and there.
Hopefully you weed out some of this shit soon or...you know what, fuck it.
This was spoke about a month ago or so but its finally hit that the two stores are coming together for small amount of time. The shop is going to be located on 54th and 5th Ave and its about to be ill. Period. The boys at WD caught up with Jenn Klein of The Unity Project that goes on in Vegas during the trade show season. Nicely done interview and tons of laughs from them on this one and very informal from Jenn on how she was with Magic and broke away to do another up and coming project that they now call Unity. So, take a listen and grab a drink..or clean your apartment.
Some people will DO ANYTHING to get a record deal nowadays. But, more than likely Im sure someone out there thought this shit was cool and whatnot. Also, a quick note to this group...you wont go anywhere with lyrics like these or simple beats produced in five minutes.
Thanks for your contribution to ruining rap music.
Classie hip-hop from the Soundbombing series that used to come out on the Rawkus label. Man, this label was running things for a couple of years and then boom....nothing. I think they went bankrupt or bad marketing. For whatever its worth, good music none the less and also check the first shot of the late Harold Hunter (KIDS, Zoo York) in this!
Adidas, always known for their three stripes, is coming up on some very seriously looks for this line. Inspired by the GSG9, the footwear that most people in the service rock throughout the world, gives this shoe the boot and sneaker feel that makes it look damn good for a causal event.
A.IN.T was started out of the guys hate of khaki browns, camo's and tag logo designs.
Art in Transit or A.IN.T for short is now bringing a fresh take on British Street wear from London Out.
The brand name A.IN.T was pulled from a classic image found in Keith Haring art book from the 1980's. A chalk illustration on a New York subway entitled Art in Transit explains, “The concept behind it being that anything can be art and transit is motion, which suits the way we work, think and live our daily sh*t.”
The A.IN.T philosophy and drive for difference is not just reflected in the design itself but also with the collaboration of British street wear pioneer and Maharishi, MHI head honcho Hardy Blechman in product production, and Tyrone LeBon son of prolific late eighties ID street photographer, Mark LeBon, shooting the collection.
A.IN.T is proud to be British, showing this through heavy graphics and cool colour ways. The Spring A.IN.T collection is only available in 15 of the top street wear stores in the UK
Incase has been on the grind for ages doing everything from laptop carrying cases, back packs, iphone cases and dj bags. A.P.C Denim, this Fall, are doing this thing....this really kind of weird but cool thing. Alright, so you know how you get a pair of nice jeans and you dont wash them for ages because you're trying to wear them in a certain way? Well, the great people at A.P.C are doing this series where they're having other people wear them in...for you! Now you dont have to go through the six month process of all that shit now! Each pair comes with the name of the person who rocked them to give those jeans that certain feel that you're looking for. Like I said, kind of weird but kind of cool, right?!
This is a just a preview of whats coming this Fall from the man, Marc Jacobs. In the recent years, his collaboration with Vans are still being talked about and also sought after through out the internet and boutiques. Keep an eye out for these in late September or so.
