Better Off Dead, the sub label of False, just dropped their holiday line a couple of days ago. The designs this season are their renditions of the bigger fashion labels and twisting the symbols to make you see a different side of them. They're available now at the False site.

Takashi Murakami - LA Studio Opening

Holding down studios in Tokyo and New York already, TM is set drop his name upon a animation studio that will be based in Los Angeles, CA. The studio will be built around his KaiKai Kiki production brand name and with this studio opening, Im sure it'll bring more people to light to recognize his present and past work from himself and the collaborative work that he has done.

Another Update

Ive been working a EP and the other contributors are well....living their lives away from computers. Also, within the next month or so there will be a ton of entries that involve music and art culture, yeah...it seems like every other fuckin site does that too but it'll be stuff from here and there thats going on around my city and whatnot.

Lets see...Winter is approaching and I frankly dont give a shit and this weather makes me rethink why the hell Im located in the Midwest.

Other than that, Enjoy the weekend and listen to good music and have a few drinks...but dont drive afterwards.

Comme des Garcons for H&M - Japan Opening

Saturday was the set date for the much anticipated collaboration between Comme des Garcons and swedish clothing retailer H&M to launch their recent projects in Japan. More than 2,000 people were lined up for hours (and days!) to check out the newest pieces that dropped and its projected that the line will also show up here in the states within the next week.

Im glad that things like this happen between labels partly due to some CdG pieces being very expensive and whatnot and having this be a little bit of an outlet for the crowd who cant turn out x-amount of thousands for a outfit can get a high fashion look for cheaper. Check your local H&M stores for info to see if this line is coming your city.

Anyway, They're opening tomorrow morning for the special release for this sneaker so if you're up and ready to stand in the snow for these kicks then by all means...do so.

For the people who cant make it for the drop that morning have a opportunity to celebrate the release at the Uptown Bar, located on Hennipen Ave. across the street from Calhoun Square with special hip-hop performances by local artist P.O.S along with others who Im forgetting. (sorry, I dont have the flyer in front of me.)
